The Little Chocolate Company, an artisan chocolate company based in Greenwich, Connecticut, came to Wild Frog Studio to launch their company brand, develop a go-to-market strategy for launching multiple product lines and open its first retail store as well as begin planning the expansion into retail nationwide.
Wild Frog Studio was required to develop a cost effective strategy for The Little Chocolate Company in a highly competitive market segment with many strong brands.
Wild Frog Studio worked with The Little Chocolate Company's values focusing around organic, sustainable and fair trade to strategically develop the positioning of the company and its products as premium and target what has become a niche on the U.S. chocolate market: artisan chocolate. This specialty segment has exclusive offerings, a handmade production process and maintains direct links with suppliers. The new branding as well as over fifty sustainable product packages were designed to reflect these aspects. Other creative includes: trade show creative, retail store planning and awning design, web site design, organized a successful PR outreach for store opening and created all other promotional and marketing materials. The dedicated team at Wild Frog Studio helped open The Little Chocolate Company's first retail store in Greenwich, CT. To supplement in store sales, engage online consumers and keep up with the evolving marketplace, an e-commerce site was designed and developed. Social media channels followed to promote the company, maintain loyalty through engagement, generate new customers and engage other chocolate lovers on Facebook and Twitter as well as running contests and posting from live event.
The next phase in the expansion of the company will includes expanding distribution from a regional to a national level and designing new product packaging for new product lines.
The product is currently available in its own retail store, online and at select retail store in New York Tri-State area.
